Series'

What do you think about series' . like, a large series, say more than 3 or 4. is it lazy? is it cos you can't think of owt else?

i always find that when i plan to embark on a series of works (not out of laziness) i get terribly bored ad almost feel like im finding an easy way to coast through a period. is it better to do that than just think about the next move??
